The best documented way to farm Mythic Seals in Diablo 4 Season 15 is Mephisto's Hoard at Torment 10 or higher. Open it with a Crux of the False Prophet, ideally in a group. Blizzard has not published any Mythic Seal drop rates, so treat any guide that quotes exact percentages with caution.
Season 15, Season of Hell's Legacy, started on September 15, 2026 with patch 3.2.1 (Blizzard). This guide is up to date for patch 3.2.4, released October 28, 2026 (Blizzard patch notes).
Key Takeaways :
- Maxroll says Mythic Seals drop only in the highest Torment tiers, without naming a cutoff. Torment 12 is the maximum in Season 15. Below Torment 10, use a Legendary Seal and keep pushing.
- Mephisto's Hoard is the best documented source. Maxroll says it has an increased chance of Mythic equipment and seals, and everyone in the party who fought gets loot.
- Echo of Mephisto now drops a guaranteed Mythic, but that Mythic isn't guaranteed to be a seal.
- Blizzard publishes no Mythic Seal drop rates. Baal and Reaper "rates" online come from player reports.
What Are Mythic Seals in Season 15?
A Seal is the centerpiece of your Talisman. It decides how many Charms you can equip. Without a Seal, you can't use Charms at all (Maxroll, updated September 19, 2026).
Higher rarity means more Charm slots:
| Seal rarity | Charm slots | Extra |
| Magic | 3 | None |
| Rare | 4 | None |
| Legendary | 5 - 6 | Small buffs |
| Mythic Unique | 6 | 1 affix, 2 Seal bonuses and 1 Mythic power |
That Mythic power is what makes a seal "Mythic." Maxroll says Mythic Seals drop "only in the highest tiers of Torment."
Which Mythic and Special Seals Exist Right Now?

Two Mythic Seals are documented in Season 15: Seal of the Golden Epiphany and Seal of the Diamond Mind. Season 15 also added Annihilus, a new Horadric seal.
- Seal of the Golden Epiphany: its tooltip reads "Cannot have more than 4 Sockets, but can equip 3 Unique Charms" (Wowhead). Before patch 3.1.0 it also had a separate penalty of -2 Charm slots, which Blizzard removed (Blizzard patch notes).
- Seal of the Diamond Mind: your Charm set bonuses need one fewer Charm, down to a minimum of 2 (Wowhead).
- Annihilus: a new Season 15 Horadric seal from Uber Diablo. It isn't listed as a Mythic Seal. More on it below.
- Seal of the Severed Finger: removed in patch 3.1.0. Existing copies turned into Golden Epiphany. Some older guides still list it.
Effects can change between patches, so check the tooltip in game before you plan a build around one.
Where Do Mythic Seals Drop?

Mephisto's Hoard is the only source documented with "an increased chance of both Mythic equipment and seals," according to Maxroll. Everything else is either a general Mythic boost or player reports. Each source below is labeled by what backs it up:
| Source | Torment needed | What backs it up |
| Mephisto's Hoard (needs a Crux) | 10+ | "An increased chance of both Mythic equipment and seals" (Maxroll) |
| Echo of Mephisto (Skovos) | 10+ (Maxroll) | Guaranteed Mythic drop since 3.2.1, not always a seal (Blizzard) |
| Season Rank caches | Any | Caches include Seals (rarity not stated); Mythic Seals not confirmed (Blizzard) |
| Greater and Initiate Lair bosses, Belial | Any (needs Lair keys) | Mythic chances raised in 3.2.1; Mythics come mostly from each boss's own Unique pool, plus a small generic chance (Blizzard) |
| Prime Evil pinnacle Capstones (Diablo, Baal, Mephisto) | 10+ (fixed difficulty) | Pinnacles open at Torment 10+ (Blizzard); seal drops are player reports only (forum) |
| Corrupted Reaper | High Torment | Player reports only, from Season 14 (forum) |
Player reports vary a lot. In an official forum thread about end-game seal drops, one player said all 8 of their Mythic Seals came from the Crux Hoard, and another reported 3 seals from 16 Torment 12 Mephisto runs (Diablo IV forums). These are single players' results, not drop rates.

The in-game tooltip lists Mythic Seals under "Has a chance to drop."
What's the Best Farming Route for Your Torment Level?

Match your farm to your Torment level. Torment 12 is the highest difficulty in Season 15. Maxroll says Mythic Seals drop only in the top Torment tiers, so pushing Torment is part of the farm.
| Your level | What to do |
| Below Torment 10 | Push Torment. Use a Legendary Seal (5 Charm slots) for now. |
| Torment 10 to 11 | Farm Echo of Mephisto for the guaranteed Mythic. Open the Hoard whenever you have a Crux. Run Greater Lair bosses, the main Crux source. Prime Evil pinnacle Capstones also open at Torment 10. |
| Torment 12 (max) | Open the Hoard in a group so everyone who fought gets loot. Run the Prime Evil pinnacle Capstones (Diablo, Baal, Mephisto). |
This route is our summary of the documented sources above. It's not an official Blizzard ranking. Annihilus has no known Torment requirement, so hunt Uber Diablo whenever world bosses are up.
How Do You Farm Mephisto's Hoard?

Beat Echo of Mephisto at Torment 10 or higher, then open his Hoard with a Crux of the False Prophet. In game, his Capstone Dungeon is called Echo of the False Prophet, in Skovos. Its tooltip lists the Crux under "Required Items", but Maxroll explains that the Crux is the key for the Hoard, so you only need it to open the Hoard after the fight. Maxroll lists the fight as "Requires Torment X or higher" (Maxroll).
Don't mix him up with Season 15's new Prime Evil pinnacle Capstones. Those put Diablo beneath Tristram Cathedral, Baal at Arreat Summit and Mephisto in the Durance of Hate (Maxroll). They open at Torment 10+, but only Echo of Mephisto has the Hoard.
- Reach Torment 10. The Crux and the Hoard need Torment 10 or higher.
- Collect Cruxes. The Crux tooltip says they are rarely found in Torment 10 or higher from Greater Lair Bosses, and very rarely from Key Spoils in War Plans, Initiate Lair Bosses, World Bosses and Elite monsters (Wowhead).
- Beat Echo of Mephisto. Each kill also gives a guaranteed Mythic since patch 3.2.1 (Blizzard).
- Open the Hoard in a group. Maxroll says every party member who took part in the fight gets loot when one player opens it. So a group taking turns with their Cruxes gives everyone more chances.

Mephisto's Hoard in game: it needs 1 Crux of the False Prophet to open.
How Do You Get the Annihilus Seal?

Annihilus drops from Echo of Uber Diablo, The Dark Lord. He can appear after a world boss fight (PCGamesN, October 1, 2026). The exact trigger is still unconfirmed.
PCGamesN lists these stats:
- +10-20% all stats and all resistances
- +5-10 to all skills
- +5-10% experience
- Appears able to roll two set bonuses
PCGamesN calls it a "unique Horadric seal," not a Mythic Seal. No drop rate is known.
What If You Can't Find a Mythic Seal?

There is no bad-luck protection and no recipe that crafts a Mythic Seal, as far as Blizzard's notes and Maxroll show. You can still make your current seals better:
- Cube 3-to-1 transmute: turn 3 seals of one type into 1 random seal of that type. Cubing 3 Ancestral seals returns an Ancestral seal (Maxroll).
- Affix Value Reroll: rerolls all base affixes on Charms and Seals. It protects Greater Affixes, Enchanted affixes, Tempers and Transfigurations (Transfigurations only on items that aren't Unmodifiable) (Blizzard).
- Horadric Reroll: fully randomizes all base affixes on a Legendary or better Talisman item. Its in-game tooltip says it does not affect Charm Set Bonuses, Charm Unique Powers, Seal Affixes or Seal Mythic Powers (Blizzard).
- Use a Legendary Seal: its 5 Charm slots carry most builds while you farm.

The Horadric Cube in Season 15, with Horadric Reroll, Affix Value Reroll and 3 to 1 Transmutation in the recipe list.

"Upgrade to Mythic" takes an Ancestral Unique equipment item. Seals are Talisman items, so it is not a way to craft a Mythic Seal.
What Changed for Seals Since Season 14?

Several patches changed seals and Mythic loot. None of them changed the Mythic Seal drop rate directly (3.1.0 and 3.1.1 notes, 3.2.1 notes, 3.2.2 to 3.2.4 notes).
| Patch | Change |
| 3.1.0 | Severed Finger removed; Golden Epiphany lost its Charm slot penalty; Diamond Mind slot bug fixed; Betrayer's Husks renamed Superior Lair Keys |
| 3.1.1 | Lair bosses can drop Mythics again; Corrupted Reaper drops up to two Pandemonium Fragments, scaling with Torment |
| 3.2.1 (Season 15) | Echo of Mephisto drops a guaranteed Mythic; Lair boss and Belial Mythic chances increased |
| 3.2.3 | Fixed Tyrael's spawn location making Baal's loot hard to pick up |
| 3.2.4 | Prime Evil Splinters stack to 99 (the Splinters drop from Diablo, Baal and Mephisto, per PCGamesN) |
If you had trouble picking up Baal's loot before 3.2.3, that is now fixed.
Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Mythic Seal drop rate in Season 15? Blizzard hasn't published one. Exact percentages online come from player reports or unofficial sites. The only documented boost is Mephisto's Hoard, and the Echo of the False Prophet tooltip lists Mythic Seals as a possible drop.
Does Mephisto drop Mythic Seals? Yes, he can. Maxroll says his Hoard has an increased chance of Mythic equipment and seals. Each kill also gives a guaranteed Mythic since 3.2.1, but Blizzard's note doesn't say it will be a seal (Blizzard). Players discuss their results in this forum thread.
What is the lowest Torment for Mythic Seals? Torment 10 is the minimum for the Crux and the Hoard, and Torment 12 is the highest difficulty. Maxroll says Mythic Seals drop only in the highest Torment tiers (it names no cutoff), so higher is better.
Is Baal better than Mephisto for seals? Some players reported good Baal drops early in Season 15 and a drop-off around September 22 (Diablo IV forums). Blizzard hasn't confirmed any change. Mephisto's Hoard is the only source with a documented seal boost.
Is Seal of the Severed Finger still in the game? No. Patch 3.1.0 removed it, and existing copies became Seal of the Golden Epiphany.
Mythic Seal Farming Checklist

Mythic Seals are a random, high-Torment drop. You can't farm one directly, but you can stack your odds. Push to Torment 10 or higher (12 is the max), farm Echo of Mephisto, use every Crux, and open the Hoard with a group. While you wait, run a Legendary Seal and reroll it into shape.
How We Checked This Guide

The Insanebuild team researched this guide on October 28, 2026, on patch 3.2.4. We used Blizzard's patch notes first, then Maxroll and Wowhead for game data. Player reports from the official forums are labeled as reports. We left out drop rates from gold and boosting sellers because we couldn't verify them. Insanebuild doesn't sell gold, boosts or items, and this post has no sponsored or affiliate links.
